This will take less than 10mins and you can already have an Oat Milk stash for the week. Not only are you saving money, but oat milk is also nutrient-packed and is said to be one of the most eco-friendly plant-based options.
Add this to your kitchen experiments!
This set includes:
- 240g Whole Rolled Oats
- 115g Pitted Dates
- 100g Raw Cashews
1/2 whole rolled oats
3 cups water (NOT warm/hot)
2 pitted dates
5pcs raw cashews (for a creamier texture)
pinch of salt
🥛 Soak the cashews for 1 min
🥛 Fully blend cashews + dates with water. Need to blend these first because we can't over blend the oats to avoid slimy texture.
🥛 Add oats and salt and blend for 30 SECS ONLY.
🥛 Strain for 3-4x. We don't recommend using a cheesecloth because pressing the oats could make the mixture slimy.
You'll get 500ml oat milk for this recipe! Best to chill first before drinking. It will be natural that the particles will separate. Just shake your bottle before consuming.
